Berlin-Brandenburg lies on the main intersection emerging markets in the east and the economic centres of the west. From Warsaw to Amsterdam, Stockholm to Vienna or Paris to Moscow the Capital-region always lies exactly in the middle. All the most important European markets can be reached form the Capital-Region by lorry in just one day.
Fast Tracks in all Directions
Brandenburg’s infrastructure has been developed to the highest standard since the German reunification. Each of Brandenburg’s economic centres offers its own individual profile and has quick access to Berlin through the motorway ring. The new Airport BER will also be easily accessed from all directions.
The Location for Research and Development
Berlin-Brandenburg boasts the largest research density in the whole of Germany. With 52 universities and other institutes of higher education, over 200 public and private research organisations and with over 50,000 scientists and researchers the region offers the best opportunities for cooperation.
